Andy Warhol’s Index Book (1967) has been called "a pop-up book for hipsters”. This rare, first edition pop-up book published in 1967 comes directly from Andy Warhol's estate. Andy Warhol's index book was a transformational artist's book, with spreads popping forth, folding up and pulling out with proto-punk typography. Featuring photographs by Factory mainstays such as Billy Name and Stephen Shore, the dynamic book engages the reader at every turn with high-contrast black-and-white photographs of Edie Sedgwick, Lou Reed, John Cale, and Nico.
