Dimepiece Piaget Clous de Paris
A solid 18 carat white gold Tank watch with the Cloud de Paris pattern running through the case. This pattern was much loved by Piaget through the 1970s and ’80s, turning up in many of their watches. It adds a level of beauty and distinction to what is a classic and simple case design. The other interesting element to the watch is the oval shape to the dial. Normally in a Tank design, one would expect to find a rectangular dial shape to reflect that of the case. The dial itself is an eggshell color with painted Roman numerals, with a set of blued steel hands to help tell the time. The crown is set with a cabochon sapphire, much like Cartier. The watch is powered by a mechanical-wound Piaget movement. Overall the watch is in excellent original condition having never been polished.
