Castro Cobra Ring Yellow Gold

After training as a painter and print maker, Castro Smith started a traditional apprenticeship with the Goldsmiths Company to study engraving. Using the ancient technique of ‘seal engraving’ Castro modernises his designs European and Japanese influences. Inspired by history, myths and biology, he is obsessed with creatures and their creations.

This Cobra Signet features three hand engraved snakes winding around and within the ring. Each has cognac diamond eyes and is pave set with brilliant diamonds - the centre snake is set with a reverse-set marquise diamond. The ring is plated with a subtle contrasting silver plating.
